This story is about women, for women, and by women.
To emphasize the importance of role models to young women. To become those who believe in themselves and believe in others. To disdain not just misogyny but internalized misogyny. To look back at past generations of women with compassion. To find not just grown ups bitter but inner children suppressed. To wonder what have I been told. To refine what I do tell. To decide how the cycle ends. To give a pen to a writer. A brush to an artist. And to finally say, "We can."
